Using the external power supply on the MKR2UNO Plus


An external 7 to 9 VDC power supply can be provided by means of the 2.5mm power jack.

2.5mm power jack on the MKR2UNO Plus board


The external power supply does not directly connects to the MKR Vin pin (which accept max 5V) but it reduces the input voltage (7 to 9V) to 5V and then feed it to the MKR Vin pin.
